Q. Where are you located?

A. For the time being, Office Nomads is without a physical location. Until we can safely gather in a shared office space again, we are going all-in on our efforts to support our members staying home.

Q. Are you still gathering in person?

A. We sure will be, just as it is safe to do so, we are organizing small events mostly outdoors for our members to connect with each other as we do best – IRL.

Q. DO YOU Plan to reopen?

A. Yes! We plan to open a new physical location as soon as it is safe to do so. Please be sure to join our newsletter list (link at bottom of page) to be sure you get a heads-up when that happens.

Q. I’m ready to sign up. Can I do that online?

A. That’s awesome! We’re excited to have you on board. All new memberships begin with a 1:1 online tour so we can get to know one another and introduce you to how we do things. We do not have an online signup system in place, but if you drop us a message we can get you set up pronto.

Q. How many members do you have?

A. There’s usually in the neighborhood of 100 or so members of Office Nomads at any given time.

Q. What kind of work do your members do?

A. In short, all kinds! One of the best parts about our coworking community is the wide variety of work that our members do. If you have a question about something, there’s nearly always someone with some expertise who can help. Our members are writers, designers, developers, marketing professionals, scientists, financial advisors, coaches, and yes, even a sailboat captain.

Q. Do you support small teams?

A. We sure do. We’ve found that our community is best for teams of 4 or less. Just because you have each other doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from being connected to a broader community of remote workers. Contact us and we can walk you through the details of team membership.

Q. what online platforms do you use to connect?

A. We connect through a mix of different platforms – a member mailing list over email, Slack for chatting during the day, and we typically use Zoom to connect over video.

Q. do you offer discounts for nonprofits or students?

A. While we are just offering online memberships, we are not offering discounts. That said, if you want to work out a work trade with us, we would be happy to chat! Jump on over to our contact form and let us know what’s on your mind.


Q. how do you handle conflict?

A. Conflict happens. In any shared space, even online, conflict is natural. We are glad that conflict here at Office Nomads is pretty rare. But when it does arise, we have set some norms in place for handling conflict with kindness and understanding.
